Spectrum Allocation With Adaptive Sub-Band Bandwidth for Terahertz Communication Systems

چکیده

We study spectrum allocation for terahertz (THz) band communication (THzCom) systems, while considering the frequency and distance-dependent nature of THz channels. Different from existing studies, we explore multi-band-based with adaptive sub-band bandwidth (ASB) by allowing interest to be divided into sub-bands unequal bandwidths. Also, investigate impact assignment on multi-connectivity (MC) enabled THzCom where users associate communicate multiple access points simultaneously. formulate resource problems, primary focus allocation, determine assignment, bandwidth, optimal transmit power. Thereafter, propose reasonable approximations transformations, develop iterative algorithms based successive convex approximation technique analytically solve formulated problems. Aided numerical results, show that enabling optimizing ASB, significantly higher throughput can achieved as compared adopting equal this gain is most profound when power budget constraint more stringent. also our strategy in MC-enabled systems outperforms state-of-the-art strategies performance lowest average molecular absorption coefficient selected during allocation.

Adaptive coding in MC-CDMA/FDMA systems with adaptive sub-band allocation

The OFDM-based MC-CDMA/FDMA transmission scheme is candidate for the air-interface of beyond 3G mobile communications. An efficient adaptive subband allocation (ASBA) approach has been recently shown to provide a considerable gain in the uncoded system performance. In this paper, adaptive coding is proposed for application in conjunction with ASBA. This is proved to yield a significant performa...

GMM-based bandwidth extension using sub-band basis spectrum model

This paper describes a novel GMM-based bandwidth extension (BWE) method based on a sub-band basis spectrum model (SBM), in which each dimensional component represents a specific acoustic space in the frequency domain. The proposed method can achieve the BWE from a speech data with an arbitrary frequency bandwidth while the conventional methods perform the conversion from a fixed narrowband data...

Narrow-Band Interference Suppression in CDMA Spread-Spectrum Communication Systems Based on Sub-Optimum Unitary Transforms

In this paper, we present several unitary transform-domain filtering techniques based on KarhaunenLoeve Transform (KLT) for narrow-band interference rejection in CDMA communication systems. The reason for selecting the KLT is that it is an optimum unitary transform in the sense of packing the energy of the narrow-band interference. As a result after applying this transform, a small portion of t...
